I am sorry for my super lame posts this year.  Hopefully one of these days I will actually have time to accomplish something during the day and actually remember to take a picture of it.  Despite my poor attempts at posting everyday, I hope we can still be friends.  BFFs forever?

First of all, I do plan to update this site more.  I just seem to have run out of things to talk about.  I always finish a project and dream of the insanely exciting blog post that I could write about it… then lose all interest as I sit in front of the computer during my precious little “mommy time” after The Nooblet goes to sleep.  That aside, I feel as if I have accomplished a fair bit in the past month.  While I have been productive, I am extremely backlogged on pictures to share.  So, instead of bombarding you with all of them now… don’t be surprised if whatever I post in the next couple weeks aren’t actually from a month ago.  Anyway, here ya go:

I managed to finally crochet a doily.  I have no idea why I felt I needed one.  I think I just had to prove to myself that I could, in fact, actually follow a crochet pattern without going all googly-eyed.

The Nooblet’s birthday is coming up (the 9th) and I am determined to make an awesome cake.  I have forever been intimidated by fondant, but wasn’t fond (HAH!) enough of the taste to actually go through the hell that is the process of making it.  However, with some help from The Internet, I found an easy, cheap, and *gasp!* tasty way of making fondant with only mini marshmallows, powdered sugar, vanilla, and a microwave!  Hallejulah!  The basic recipe can be found here!

And since we’re talking birthdays… here’s a picture from The Nooblet’s birthday at her Ammie’s!

Hey, I said I would take a picture every day.  I never said I would take a good picture every day.  Side note: Cappuccino cream/fat-free custard gelati is for the noms.

I love Spring.  I must admit that it isn’t my favorite season - that would be Fall - but Spring is a close second.  I took a brief stroll outside to collect our lawn-chairs from the wind last night, and found this little guy poking out of the decorative stones along our house.

What type of flower is this?  They are, literally, everywhere on our property.

The Nooblet stood on her own today!  Granted, she was kind of wedged in between the wall and her toybox… but still, no hands!  Also, note the bobbin - she’s going to be a spinner!

Spring is almost here!  This is my first year with plans for an actual garden!  I’m getting so excited to move a tiny skoosh closer to self-sustainability.

By the way, Myvictorygarden on Etsy has the most adorable little seed kits.  I can’t wait to start getting the garden ready!

Has it really been over a month since I last updated?  A lot has happened since that last update, namely Christmas has come and gone, The Nooblet now has two teeth, and she is almost crawling.  I don’t really know what to type today, since the Nooblet has decided to knock over my coffee.  Instead, here is what most of you are actually here for: adorable pictures of The Nooblet!
