First of all, I have become hopelessly addicted to Doctor Who recently. After surfing around on Ravelry, I found a pattern for a Dalek dishcloth called EXFOLIATE! I mean, how could I NOT knit one?

Let us please mourn the loss of my Harry Potter Ravenclaw scarf which sacrificed its short life to become this amazingly awesome dish cloth. Amen.
Secondly, what do you do when your husband makes pounds upon pounds of spaghetti? You make spaghetti frittata! Om-nom-nom!

The recipe can be found here! You can basically add anything to this dish - we added a bit of leftover ham lunchmeat and some shredded cheese. It was amazing!
And, finally, the requisite cute baby picture!

I make some really good fish sandwiches. I mean, I can even get the Mecha-Hubby to eat them.

Super easy too… dip some tilapia in egg, coat in bread crumbs, fry with non-stick cooking spray until flaky. Yummy and healthy.
Oh yeah… and THIS:
My Kiwi came today!!!
Really, do I need to say anything else?

I’ve named him (I’m convinced that Kiwis are male…) Ytterbium.

The first spinning session went pretty smoothly

Ignore the stuff nearest the orifice… that was my poor attempt at an artsy yarn. The green in the back is probably the most evenly spun singles I have ever made. I am in love.

I forgot just how much I love cross-stitching.

And my best friend borrowed me her Kromski for the week. It’s been, oh, four years since I last used a wheel. It took me forever to remember just how to get started. Eventually I got the hang of it again and spun some medicore - but usable - singles.

What type of insane human being buys 8 lbs of carrots, 10 lbs of potatoes, and ungodly huge bags of spinach for no real reason other than “hey, they were a good value.”? Me, obviously.
Now, what do you do with said truckload of veggies? Why, make a truckload of baby food, of course!

Left: Chicken/veggie medley Right: Spinach, carrots, and potatoes. Yummy, huh?

Carrots and potatoes Seriously, though. All this (there are also two more ice cube trays not pictured) may have cost me a total of $4 to make. Much, much cheaper than jarred baby food.Oh yeah, and here’s one of the things I’ve been working on:
From the Longcat Scarf patternAnd it’s reversable!

Longcat is LOOOOOOOOONNNNNGGG!And, for good measure, here’s a picture of the Nooblet opening her Valentine’s Day present from her boooyyyfffrieeend.
Adorable… utterly adorable.

Yeah, Death Knight rocks my face.

Aww, isn’t she cute?

Notice a trend in the names? Just ignore Berny and Freddy… they’re just Blood Elves.

Silithus… the only nice part.
Hi, My name is MrsThallium and I’m a gamer. Too many people shrug off gamers as pimple-ridden goof-offs which never see the light of day, but gaming can provide a welcoming distraction to a frustrating day. I’ve also made some wonderful and lasting friendships through online games such as Final Fantasy 11 and World of Warcraft. Even if gaming isn’t an attractive hobby to you, you must admit that there is a certain level of aethetics present in many of today’s games…
